Description mamehof is a Python script that builds a custom folder in MameUI containing the Hall of Fame from MAWS.

mamehof scrapes the first 15 pages of the MAWS Hall of Fame, and writes them to an ini file which can be placed in the MameUI "folders" folder. After the ini has been put in the correct location, a new custom folder will appear containing the Hall of Fame.

mamehof requires the Python interpreter be installed for the script to run. A recent ini created by the script is available to download in the downloads section.

mamehof was written by myself and a mate of mine, Steve Taylor. The script is based on a script he originally wrote to scrape data to create a usage meter for NetSpeed.

Today I'm adding a recent little project called mamehof written in Python together with a friend of mine, Steve Taylor.

mamehof scrapes the Hall of Fame data from MAWS and outputs an ini to be used as a custom folder for MameUI.

The script is available to download from the project page, along with the ini output from a scrape today.
